Edmund Rice Awards 2015

THE PRIMARY EDMUND RICE AWARDS

was hosted by St Patrick’s Primary School, Pim Street, Belfast
beginning with the celebration of Mass
on Wednesday, 6th May 1915.

“A group of boys and girls from John Paul II Primary School took part in the annual Edmund Rice Awards hosted by St. Patrick’s Primary School.

This annual event held on the Feast of Edmund Rice on 5th May allows all 4 primary schools in our network to come together for a day and present their work on a particular theme. This year the focus was on ‘Our challenge in helping respond to the needs of others’.

The reading, the presentations and the singing were first class (as usual). We finished off our presentation with Miley Cyrus’ ‘The Climb.’ We told our story in song and it went down a treat!

Cormac and Holly accepted a lovely trophy on our behalf as a reward for our efforts. Well done to everyone! Let’s move on now to climb other mountains!”
