We are moving towards the end of the school year and the staff here in St Mary’s are planning for September.
With this in mind our Head of Careers, Ms Cathy Moore, has asked me to plea to our Alumni for some help with regards to careers education.
We are looking for past pupils who could provide support to our careers programme in the following ways:
Offer a placement for Senior school work shadowing Be an interviewer for Mock Interviews Support STEM Careers events by becoming a STEM Ambassador Come into school to talk to groups- these are the categories:
Anyone with an unusual career
Anyone who has had a change of career
Anyone who can give advice on application forms & mock interviews
Anyone currently studying and can give advice about university life
Anyone who would like to provide career talks in particular subjects, i.e. Business Studies, Languages, Art & Design..
